#1 Sort terminal by wire number

Hello,

I'm trying to sort terminals by wire number but it is not wirking properly.  Usually it does work good, but as you can see in the video below, Some wires with higher number are still before some other wires with lower numbers.

Hmmm...

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Yes, that certainly doesn't seem right. We can't reproduce it on our side unfortunately.

Please upload a package of your project and we'll take a look. To make a package of your project, save your project, then select it, go to the 'Export' tab and select 'Package project for deployment'. It will create a special project package file that you can upload to your next reply on this forum discussion.

Hello,

Hello,

After many trials, I found what is not right.  It is the difference between normal terminals and distribution terminals.

Skycad puts the distribution terminals first then the normal terminals even if some normal terminal wire number are lower then the distribution terminals.  I use distribution terminal for normal wires because I need them to go to multiple places.

Is there a way to change that so that skycad doesn't care about distribution/normal terminal and just sort the terminals with wire number only?

Thanks

Nice catch!

Ah, indeed!

We'll have to check the code. Either way, you won't be able to do it with your current version. The best thing we can suggest for you right now is to replace the normal terminals in the terminal strip with distribution terminals (there shouldn't be any negative consequences). Is that OK for you?

OK, understood.  For the luck I don't have too many different terminals.  For now I'll just move them around by hand.

Thanks.
