#1 Part list

I want to remove part frome part list to have shorter list. But emty line appear on the table.

Some parts in your projects have been assigned part numbers

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Those are not empty lines, but lines which represent components in your project which do not have part number, manufacturer or description defined yet.

If you open the parts list (if you double-click on the list block, it will open) you should see those components.

If it doesn't make sense to assign part numbers to those components, then perhaps using the BOM instead of the parts list is a better choice for you.

Please let us know.

Thanks,

Thanks,

I realised that i hide the tag collumn by error.

So the Ethernet cable appear on the table with empty line and the part number field is grey and I can't set part number?

I d'ont have the virtul part case to hide this too.

Thanks,

You can change that

Ah, indeed. The Ethernet cable symbol is an old symbol that we have since removed from the symbol library.
You can still use it though.

Here's what you can do:

  1. Select any of your ethernet cables in the parts list, go to the Catalogue Tools tab and select Explore Selected Element's Class
  2. Add a property called Virtual Part, set the Type column to Boolean
  3. For the Part Number and Manufacturer columns, uncheck the Read-Only column

Please let us know if that helps.
