#1 OPR Issues

So I seem to have run across an issue with OPR's.  I have drawing with two ladder columns.  When I try linking the left rail on the left column to the left rail on the right column it keeps selecting the right rail in the left column.  After I noticed this was happening I tried deleting the reference and got the attached unhandled exception.  I did notice it would let me link the left rail in the left column to the right rail in the right column.  Maybe the rails are too close together?

Hmm....

Maybe the rails are too close together?

That shouldn't be the issue.  It's hard to understand what's going on here, as we tried to reproduce this behavior based on the description you gave, and all seem to work well on our end.

Could you attached your project file to this thread?  It will be easier for us to reproduce the issue.  (You will find the sectionto attch a project file at the bottom of this page...)

Thanks in advance!

Another odd thing I found was that if I click on the OPR coming off the transformer on sheet 1 I get an error.  That link was working at one time.  I've opened and closed the project a few times then noticed that.  Where exactly are the project files stored?  As soon as I find it, I'll attach it.

Ok, we'll check that about

Ok, we'll check that about the OPR coming off the transformer.

The project files are stored under 'C:\SkyCAD Environments\Standard Environment\Catalogue\root class\work field classes\Project\'

Thanks a lot!

That project location is

That project location is quite a mouthfull.  If there's a limit to the number a characters, I might suggest less wordy diretory names.  Also, is it possible to have project files stored and accessable from within SkyCAD elsewhere?  Our files are generally stored by project (e.g. Specifications, code, drawings, etc).  We literally have thousands of projects.

Thanks for uploading your project.

Thanks for your project.  We'll look at it and get back to you with a status.

Also, is it possible to have project files stored and accessable from within SkyCAD elsewhere?

Yes, absolutely.  You can store a project wherever you wish.

Of course, all seems fine on our end!

Is it possible that you clicked 'Continue' on the error message, which allowed you to go on with the deletion, and save your project?  When we open your project, only the left ladder column is present on sheet #3.  We tried inserting one ourselves and reproduce what you described, but (naturally!), all worked fine...

Are you able to reproduce the error on your end?

Thanks for etting us know.
