Most of the time, not always, when I move an item onto a piece of DIN rail in the layout view, the item disappears (no longer visible) or it leaves an outline. Usually I can select the item with a rectangle via the mouse and then delete it and then re-insert it into the layout. Sometimes I am successful at placing it and it stays visible, sometimes it doesn't and I have to go through the process again.
A while back I did customize the DIN rail and later added cross hairs for the holes in the hole pattern view. I can't say however that this is when the visibility issue started or not.
Do you have any suggestions or fixes for this?

We've not heard of this problem behaviour, so it's still a mystery at this stage.
Have you found a particular sequence, component or rail with which you can reproduce this behaviour? If so, please share so we can try to reproduce and identify the problem.
