#1 Filter The Table of Content List Block?

I assume there is a way to Filter a Table of Content List Block. It seems if you explore the block there is a Query Attribute. Default is "GetAllSheets".

I would like to be able to filter and only show the sheets for the folder that the sheet is in, that the list block is in. Does that make sense?

Actually...

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Actually, there should be a 'Table of contents' query specific to folders, thus allowing you to insert the corresponding list block on a sheet.  It was planned, but seems to have slipped in the cracks.

The next release will have it.  Can you wait for it?

my current project I need to have done by the end of next week.

Is there a workaround in the meantime?

Send us your environment file...

Yes, attach your environment structure file to a reply ('EnvironmentStructure.SkyCadFile', which you will find this file at the root of the 'Standard Environment' folder...) and we'll add the table of contents query for you at the Folder class level.

Here you go!

Replace this file in the 'Standard Environment' folder and you should see a 'Table of content' query in the 'Show' tab when selecting a folder. You will then be able to add it as a list block where ever you want.

(We've hidden the 'Folder' column, but you can show it back if you want, of course...)

woops I misread your post and set you my whole environment when you just wanted one file. Sorry.

Cool it works

Is there any way to widen the table so that the title doesn't overflow

You must resize it manually...

No problem.  We got the file we needed anyway...

The font size for the list block title is hard coded.  That said, you can single select it and change its size once the list block is inserted.

Should this feature exist in

Should this feature exist in the latest version?  I have a project with multiple panels, each under a folder.  I would like to include a table of contents with each panel drawing that only shows the sheets for that particular panel.  Reading above--" you should see a 'Table of content' query in the 'Show' tab when selecting a folder", but that query is not there.

Indeed...

Yep, indeed we dropped this one...

We've been fixing glitches and uploading new versions almost everyday since the last major release last week, and today will not be different.  We will fix this and include it in the next release planned for later today.

We'll keep you updated.

Hi, there is a way to Boolean

Hi, there is a way to add a Boolean Property to pages for "Internal document" by examples, and filter them into the Table of content, and may be in future filter them at the printing?

Thanks

Good question

Please let us see what we can do and get back to you.

Update

We have plans to make this process easier, though we're not sure how long it will take us to come up with a good solution. It poses some interesting questions, so we'll need to think about it more.

For now, the workaround is to create a new table of contents query; i.e. you will end up with two Table of contents buttons under the Show tab. The new one will only display sheets that do not have your Internal document property selected.

This won't help for printing though. For printing, when you select Print Document, you will just need to manually de-select the sheets that you don't want to print.

If you're interested in this workaround, please let us know and we'll provide instructions.
