#1 CONTINUOUS RUNG NUMBERS

I received a request to duplicate a particular schematic style on an upcoming project. The layout consists of 1 column of rung numbers on the left side of the page starting with a range of 100 to 119. The next page has the same layout with numbers starting at 120 and going to 139, the next page 140 through 159.

I can't seem to find anything that woudl help with this in the forums. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Hmmm....

Thanks for posting on the forum.

Unfortunately SkyCAD doesn't allow for continuous rung numbers like that.  Rung numbers are always prefixed with the page number and are always reset at 0 on a new page.

Adding a column of texts manually would not only be time consuming, but cross-references and automatic numbering wouldn't take it into account.

We'll keep thinking, but for now we're short of a solution for you...

Thanks for the quick reply.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Question...

We do have a question: is this way of using continuous rung numbers from sheet to sheet a known way of working?

(It is the first time we hear about it...)

Actaully, its the first time

Actaully, its the first time I have seen this as well, see picture.

Ok!

Thanks for getting back to us.

It's reassuring we are not the only one who never heard of that before.
