#1 Cable number shown on terminal strip

Dear Sir,

I’m sending you one project. Problem is on drawing "25 - Terminal strips X1,XDIO". We asked you before to make the number of cables be seen on terminal strip drawing. Other terminal strips are all right, but this one treats a drawing 14, which has a lot of connections to N1-1 and N1-2 point. But This regulator N1 is in the field, and it is logical for cables to have associated with terminals (esspecially on a terminal strip wiev), not with some point in the field where they go to.

In cable list situacion is ok (cables W-23,W-24,W-25,W-26).

And finally on a drawing "26 - X1 - as it should be", which was made for you to see, I improvise with „add text“ button on a drawing tab to get this.

Can you fix this problem?

With best regards,

We'll get back to you shortly

Thanks for posting on the forum and uploading your project.

For clarification, this is what we see on sheet 25 (once we used the file we sent you via email, attached to this reply):

We'll get back to you shortly to let you know if there is a way to way to achieve what you showed on sheet 26.

In the meantime, please let us know - do you physically have 4 cable wires connected directly to N1-1?

We managed to get this result

By modified the file we originally sent you, we managed to get this result:

If that looks good to you, please follow these steps:

  1. Close SkyCAD if you have it open
  2. Move the attached file to this location, replacing the existing file:
  3. \SkyCAD Environments\Standard Environment\Catalogue\root class\SkyCad specific Classes\Graphical Element\graphical object\graphical block\List item\Terminal list item\OneLevelTerminalItemV2.SkyCadFile
  4. Open SkyCAD and you should immediately see the difference

Please let us know if this helps or if something looks wrong.

Cable number shown on terminal strip

Yes, we have 4 cable wires (from 3 different cables) connected to N1 (drawing 14). (We get this connections following manuals of the equipment.)

The solution you sent us is ok for cables W-23 and W-26 (these cables are connected to terminal strips, W-24 and W-25 are not, they are in the field).

But cable W-3 must be on exterior side of terminal strip, in all its marks.
And also we hope that changing this file won't disturb other terminal strips which were ok?
With best regards,
Branko N

Thanks for confirming

Please let us look into this properly and we'll get back to you shortly.

Thanks for your patience.

Thanks for your patience.

We will have to introduce a new query to be able to make this possible for you.
It should be available within the next few weeks.

And also we hope that changing this file won't disturb other terminal strips which were ok?
Changing the file may alter the cable information on other terminals strips.
You can try, and if it does have undesired consequences, you can let us know about them and revert back to the old file to reverse the changes.
